This enormous group of piano teachers is a wonderful source to ask questions and get feedback from all level of teachers. “What is a good piece for small hands?” or “Does anyone have experience with summer camp auditions” can get you a fast stream of responses from teachers all over the world.


IMSLP/Petrucci Music Library

This wonderful and massive library of music offers everything from original sheet music, arrangements, and music recordings as well as books on music topics such as technique, that are in the public domain (no longer under copyright protection). The website also offers an app to store and annotate music.

This free site offers basic and mostly beginner arrangements of pieces. It’s a great resource for holiday music such as Halloween and Christmas. You can find all assortments of instruments.


MuseScore

This is a place for composers to share their works and can vary across original works and arrangements. You can find everything from movies, video games, classical arrangements, duets, simplified pieces, works from other countries, folk music, and more.

This website is the online home of the Frances Clark Center and shares information about The New School for Music Study, the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy, The Piano Magazine, the Piano Pedagogy Forum, and several print publications.

This is an excellent free website where you can see interviews with famous and celebrated musicians spanning Vladimir Ashkenazy, Yuja Wang, Steven Isserlis, John Corigliano, Alisa Weilerstein, and more.

The symphony offers several activities and education-oriented information for students and educators. You can find playlists, guide to the instruments of the orchestra, online activities and learning tools.
